METAL ROOF KIT

Our yurts come with a conical galvanized metal roof. The metal roof adds strength to the structure and has a life expectancy of over 30 years. With proper care and paint the roof could last much longer.(Some unpainted roofs are over 60 years old).

The metal roof package has a central “segment” ring that the roof panels (up to 36 in the larger yurts) are bolted to. A weather skirting seals the roof at the peak.This whole system rests on the framework of the rafters and eaveswith the roof panels securely screwed to each other and to the eaves.This is a simple system that can be easily installed on the roof frame by a couple of people.
